Bill Abbott
Contact Bill Abbott
Bill Abbott, a Partner at Diamond, co-leads Diamond’s new Information Advantage service line and co-founded the Diamond Information and Analytics Center in Mumbai. He has extensive experience working with clients on marketing and operational issues, where better information can be leveraged to drive results, as well as defining and driving complex change programs. He has co-authored four papers on applied analytics and served major clients across all of Diamond’s industry-based verticals in his 14 years at Diamond.
Bill’s recent business development efforts include slot and player analytic pilots for gaming companies, helping a domestic card issuer refine underwriting models and processes in conjunction with recent CARD legislation, as well as defining root cause churn drivers and remediation tactics for a national security service. Additionally, Bill’s recent client projects include helping a large domestic consumer association define an improved CRM infrastructure and operating model to strengthen member information and marketing capabilities, and decrease operating costs. At a large domestic wireless carrier, Bill led the team that delivered concrete actions to reduce "hot-area" churn by 1.5 to 2 percentage points. Working with a leading broker dealer, Bill led the global EMU conversion program that required synchronization and consistency across global operations and 200 counterparties, clearing agents, central banks, and industry utilities.
Education & Affiliation
Bill holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Indiana University at Bloomington. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bowling Green State University and started his career as a certified public accountant. Prior to starting at Diamond, Bill was a manager in Ernst & Young’s Performance Improvement consulting practice.
