Campus Recruiting Process
Diamond conducts an extensive campus recruiting program, with opportunities in
the United States, United Kingdom and India. Each campus candidate will have
several contacts within Diamond, including a dedicated recruiting professional
and several consultants, all an active part of the recruiting team. This team
begins the process by establishing relationships with you at various recruiting
events on campus: campus presentations, club-sponsored recruiting events and
career fairs. In addition to attending the various campus recruiting events, we
appreciate students who show an interest in the firm by following up with
submission of a cover letter and resume to their Diamond campus recruiter.
Round One Interviews
During the first round of interviews, typically held on campus, we assess your experience and/or potential in several relevant areas:
-
Leadership
-
Teamwork
-
Management
-
Quantitative skills
-
Problem solving
-
Initiative
-
Business acumen
-
Communication
-
Genuine interest in the consulting industry
-
Desire to work for Diamond
Candidates should also be ready to articulate their interest in the consulting industry, as well as the desire to work for Diamond. All candidates are contacted in a timely manner after their interview and informed of their current status in the recruiting process.
Candidates for Technology Analyst positions will be asked to take a short online technology assessment in a language or subject of their choice (there are eight different tests in total). This assessment is used during the Final Round of interviews and helps to determine in which area of our Development Center the candidate should focus, as well as the training the candidate may need should they receive and accept an offer.
Final Round Interviews
The Final Round of interviews are scheduled as close to the first round as possible. Candidates can expect a combination of additional behavioral as well as either business or technology case interviews.
The Decision
After the Final Round of interviews, we are prepared to make decisions and extend offers to candidates within a few business days of their interview. We follow up with several opportunities for the candidate to learn more about Diamond, our people, our work and our culture. Candidates who receive offers are assigned peer "buddies," who assist in obtaining all the information needed for you to make an informed decision about the Diamond offer.
